Record Label Manager for Deathray Music (Self Employed)
As the label manager for Deathray, I am responsible for the ongoing promotion of the music as well as the branding, design, and press releases. I also manage the catalogue and coordinate the film and TV licensing, and I provide the artists with the necessary feedback, enabling them to complete their work. In addition to this, I am involved in the composition and production, and I oversee the audio mastering.

Being one of two front-end developers in a small team, my duties involved designing promotional pages and HTML emails, as well as doing general updates and amendments to the web site. Working as the lead front-end developer for Best Invest, I was responsible for rewriting the XHTML and CSS within their existing web site in order to simplify the code base and improve its cross-browser compatibility. My task during this period of the project was to re-style the content to fit with the new templates and build additional sections using the new styles.

As the sole developer for The Royal Free Hospital, I was brought in to implement a new web-site front-end that had been designed by an outside agency. I was also required to clean up and simplify the CSS and HTML code base in order for future developers to easily be able to make changes and updates.

Front End Designer & Developer for the Arcadia Group (Contract)
While working for the Arcadia Group, I was tasked with re-styling the web site front-end for a number of their retail brands, including Dorothy Perkins, Top Man, and Top Shop. The role was entirely CSS-focused, as I did not have access to the HTML code base. Since there were no designs for me to follow, I was also responsible for creating various background images, buttons, and logo variations based on the brand guidelines for each of the stores.

As the only contractor, my role at Agency.com involved liaising with the project managers, copywriters, and occasionally the management team in order to carry out additions and updates to various websites within their client roster. I was also asked to oversee tasks that were outside of the skill set of the full-time employees.

As lead developer for French Connection UK, I was responsible for maintaining a Flash-based web site that was produced by a previous employee. My tasks involved updating the imagery for each new season of clothing and adding items to the online product catalogue. I also worked closely with various members of the management team in order to write and produce promotional emails.
