Frontend developer with a focus on web and product development

I'm Ângela Coelho, a frontend developer with a focus on web and product development. I studied Design and Multimedia for five years at the University of Coimbra in Portugal, and I've been working as a frontend developer for the past few years.

During this time, I always aim to bring a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to my work. I thrive on bridging the gap between design and code, creating meaningful experiences that influence and shape the way we perceive and interact with information. Over the past few months, I have been working for a product company, where I actively contribute to creating engaging and intuitive digital experiences.

My goals are to expand my knowledge in the field of frontend development and product development and to contribute with my design and development skills to build innovative products that make a difference.

The most rewarding project that I developed was my master thesis project in the field of Musical Sonification. This project consisted of an application to convert a poetry book into sounds. Sonification is a relatively new field, which meant there were a lot of technical constraints to overcome. The solution consisted of using tools like Processing, Max/MSP and Ableton Live in order to build the desired result. The main goal was to create a novel approach to analyse poetry through sound, that reflects its structure, story and rhyme characteristics. More about it here .
