Senior Front-end Developer at Villatel

Salary Range: $95000 - $150000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our website villatel.com. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement user-friendly interfaces and ensure seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about front-end development, possesses strong technical skills, and stays up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end components of our website using JavaScript, DOM manipulation, Events, and Forms.
• Implement responsive and visually appealing designs using CSS/SCSS to create engaging user interfaces.
• Work with the Stimulus framework to build interactive and dynamic web pages.
• Write clean and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to ensure smooth integration of front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Optimize the website for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of front-end components to ensure high-quality and bug-free software.
• Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies, trends, and best practices, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, with a focus on JavaScript, DOM, Events, and Forms.
• Strong proficiency in CSS/SCSS and the ability to translate designs into clean and efficient code.
• Experience with the Stimulus framework for building interactive website.
• Familiarity with Haml (HTML Abstraction Markup Language) and its usage for writing clean and concise HTML code.
• Knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails is preferred.
• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility, web standards, and responsive design principles.
• Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting front-end issues.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
